Sweet Elijah--what a wonderful little boy.
This picture is particularly special because Elijah is very orally aversive and doesn't eat much of anything by mouth. He was so excited that it was his birthday that he took a big bite of his cake! He didn't know what to do once he got the cake in his mouth, but sure knew this was a special day just for him.
Jordan on his 13th birthday--a day he has been looking forward to!Two of our boys had birthdays in November. I didn't have a chance to post some pictures. My two Jordans (Elijah's birth name was Jordan also) have such sweet and gentle spirits. Jordan turned 13 and Elijah turned 4 years old. Each of them have provided us with unexpected blessings...Elijah with his silly sense of humor --he does the best imitation of a hippo I have ever seen! Elijah is starting to talk more and more and he leaves me speechless many days as I stop to just watch the progress he is making.
Jordan is such a loving big brother to the little ones. The sign that Maisy uses to ask for Jordan is "jump." She loves to jump on the trampoline with Jordan and he is so kind and patient with her. She is going to miss the trampoline for the winter, but she and Jordan will no doubt find other fun things to do together.
