More than anything, when I am ready to leave this world, I want to leave it all used up...with nothing more left to give because I have given it all. After a week of feeling a bit overwhelmed and old, this thought has come to mind often and has given me focus to keep going...
I am not interested in retiring...it just isn't for me...which I suppose is obvious as we are adopting a medically fragile baby at 46 years old! This is the life God has given me and I intend to live every minute of it.
And each morning, I will ask God for new mercies to face the day with a renewed energy and focus...and I when I feel like overwhelmed and frumpy, I will remind myself of the life God has intended for me to live...frump and all..
